Tee Time

Hi All,

I thought I’d share a quick refashion I did this week. I bought an XL t shirt from H&M and decided to hack at it.

I did like wearing this baggy but I wanted to attempt a t shirt refashion as I haven’t done one for years now.

Here it is paired with matching khaki coloured block heels (picked out by a friend, from New Look). The lace was picked up quickly to use as a belt, it was left over after attaching some to the hem.

This is how it looks without a belt in case you were wondering.

This can be worn different ways, with leggings, over the knee socks or jeans

I’ll throw in some random pics from the “photo shoot”

Happy Saturday y’all!

Grunge Skirt

Hi All,

I recently received a new sewing machine as a late birthday gift, it’s a brand I’ve never heard (EGL) before but I picked it and wanted to give it a go.

So far so very good! I’ve completed my first project using it and it looks cool, my mom says it looks grunge and something she’d see in Urban Outfitters… I didn’t know she’s been in there.

So here’s my “grunge skirt”. The sun was out for a change but it’s made it look like I heavily edited these photos, kinda nice though.

It didn’t take long to make this skirt, I hacked at two pairs of jeans and sewn large godets in the front and back.

There are loads of tutorials if you’d like to try this. I’m still working of my socks but I need my moms help as it’s doing my head in!

Top To Bottom

Hi All,

I snatched one of Js’ t shirts and quickly made a skirt from it which I’m glad I did as I was very easy. There are various ways to do this to get different results which you can google.

Here’s my skirt.

I saw this here first then I came across other techniques, I want to do the same with a jumper or cardigan so I’ll have a warm skirt for winter. I still want to make a fleece or fur skirt from scratch though, that would be different.

As usual I want to make more of these, so I will!
