My Illustrations

Posted in Miscellaneous with tags , , , , , , on April 27, 2012 by MontanaDesigns

Hi All,

I have been creating a lot of fashion drawings lately and I wanted to show you.

These are for myself but I have been drawing for friends and family as they want some garments made too

These have been drawn on the same piece of paper so you can see the drawing on through the other side (I don’t like to waste paper).

I like capes as they are striking to look at and simple to make.

Hope you like them, if not , your tips are welcome 🙂

Good Book Find

Posted in Miscellaneous with tags , , on April 25, 2012 by MontanaDesigns

Hi All,

Just wanted to share a book my mom brought for me today called Chic on a shoestring.

It’s all about  accessorizing on the cheap, using old clothes and bits of fabric.

This is a good find for anyone wanting to look fabulous while keeping an eye on the budget, it’s great for me as I’m always looking for different ways to revive things and not throw away old clothes!

This is the authors website

These flip flops are decorated with plastic bags cut from a flower template! The possibilites are endless with this book.

I hope you find this useful,

Hi All,

I know it has been a while since I have posted anything, I’m looking for a zip for my purple dress.

Meanwhile I have been knitting two different jumpers, drawing (I’ll show you those soon) and searching the net.

Here’s a website I have tracked down after viewing it back in my college days, how I love the fashion!

Small Projects

Posted in Miscellaneous, Sewing on April 5, 2012 by MontanaDesigns

Hi All,

I thought I’d share the little thing I have made over the months as I’m into sewing anything I can handle.

Here is a ‘Needle Bear I made to stick my needles in.

I didn’t do the ears right to give it a patch work look.

Here is the link for this pattern I printed the pattern and enlarged it by photo copying it.

Here is a cross stitch heart I have recently completed, a lovely gift for my boyfriend

Here is the link for the pattern What I did was enlarged each square by four to make it bigger.

Thanks for taking a peek,

I may not blog as regularly because I’m not sure I’ll have Internet access!
